Privacy Policy

• Account and booking details: your name, phone number, email, and service address, plus details about your home, your notes and special requests, and access instructions such as a door code or where a key is kept.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We keep limited details such as the card brand and last four digits so we can identify your payment method.
• Messages: texts, emails, and calls between you and us, including feedback and ratings you send.
• Website and device information: pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and similar analytics data collected through cookies (see below).
• Job applications: if you apply to work with us, the information you put in your application.

• To quote, schedule, and complete your cleanings.
• To process payments, deposits, gift cards, and refunds.
• To contact you about your appointments, answer questions, and handle any issues with a clean.
• To improve our service and our website.
• To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

When you give us your mobile number, you agree that we may text you about your appointments, reminders, updates, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties for their marketing.

We email booking confirmations, receipts, reminders, and requests for feedback. Emails include links to manage your notification settings in your account or to unsubscribe. Some messages, like receipts and important account or booking notices, are necessary for your service and will still be sent.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site. It sets cookies and collects usage data. Our cookie banner lets you Accept or Deny. If you deny, analytics cookies are not used for your visit. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run the business: payment processing (Stripe), text and email delivery, scheduling and business software, hosting, and analytics.
• Independent cleaning teams assigned to your home. They receive what they need to do the job, such as your name, address, home details, notes, and access instructions.
• Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our customers, teams, or company.
• A buyer or successor, if Spekless Cleaning is ever sold or merged.

We keep your information for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable time afterward, for example to handle questions, keep tax and business records, and meet legal requirements. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting access to the people who need it and using a payment processor that handles card data securely. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of texts or marketing emails, by contacting us. We may need to keep certain records for legal or business reasons.

Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
